INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) is Nigeria’s electoral body responsible for organizing and overseeing various electoral processes in the country. Established in 1998, INEC’s primary functions include:

1. Organizing and conducting elections for the offices of the President, Vice President, National Assembly, and Governorship.
2. Registering political parties and monitoring their activities to ensure compliance with electoral laws.
